Our work in educational development in Second Life - particularly with regard to language teacher training and teaching has been recognised by the British Council. The EduNation project has been shortlisted for an ELTON award in 2009 [ more here... ].

The ELTONs (British Council Innovations Awards) are offered to outstanding new language learning products and services, which use innovative ideas to help learners achieve their goals, or to innovative research which has clear practical benefits for English language teaching.

Nicky and Gavin won an ELTON in 2007 for their ground-breaking online course 'ICT in the Classrom', now the internationally-recognised certificate Cert ICT [ more here... ].
