Blended Cert ICT, Seville - August 2009

It was an interesting and absorbing course with a lot of content... There were lots of excellent ideas for using technology in the classroom in different ways than I had already used it before... The course is an excellent introduction and overview to using technology in the classroom and provides lots of useful websites, tips and other information to help you get started with technology in the classroom.
Caroline Miles
Very well organised and structured: no previous knowledge is assumed, everything is checked and the subsequent input gauged accordingly. There was a good mixture of theory and practice and it was fun!
Fiona Mulcahy
I enjoyed it as it went from the basics to more challenging and new things. It worked well ... I really enjoyed the entire experience and loved putting it into practice with my students. It was excellent!

I definitely feel I have learned a lot and now feel excited because I now feel as if I've been "admitted to the club", (freshman that I may be), of those who understand about different software programs, different internet pages and IT tools etc...This course helps teachers know how to open that previously dauntingly heavy door to technology as well as showing them some of the things that can be done once on the other side of that door.

I'm more aware of what's out there and feel motivated to try some things out. I also want to use the knowledge I've obtained to help my colleagues use ICT in the classroom... For me as a learner, the face-to-face part was great and was a stimulus to do the course. I've never done an online only course before, so this "blended" approach appealed to me more.
